Professional Workbook Principles and Practice in the Foundation Stage
This book will support trainees in identifying strengths and areas for development and help them achieve the Professional Standards for the award of QTS in the UK. It is structured around a flexible needs assessment process so trainees can begin their learning at a level appropriate to their experience. Each chapter covers a core issue of teaching and provides a framework of activities within which trainees can develop as competent teachers. The core of the book is made up of learning opportunities linked to the Early Learning Goals and activities at three progressive levels: Getting Started, Developing your Skills and Extending your Skills.
